This was a beautiful property and a great way to kick off our time in Tassie. We stayed here our first night after arriving at Hobart airport, a short drive away. It's a beautiful and historical spot. Our room was very comfortable. The included 2 course breakfast was divine. We also ate in the dining room for dinner, which was very good (but pricey). Visiting the Pooley Winery across the way was an extra bonus, definitely worth doing. And it's walkable into the nearby historical town.

Beautiful place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. The room was super comfortable and well equipped. We had dinner at the in house restaurant and it was superb. The included breakfast was also excellent and was the perfect way to start the day. I would definitely stay again. Only 15-20 minute drive to the airport so conveniently located.

An excellent hotel, ordinary dinner experience

Excellent amenities and gorgeous place! Relatively small room and bed. Overall we loved our stay! Just one note, the dinners were not impressive once had the best foodie experience in Hobart. Given $85 amazing set menu at Faro, the dinner options at this hotel were very ordinary. Will definitely stay again.
