Nan House had the most lovely property that felt like a serene oasis. Beautiful pool which was fabulous for relaxing and cooling off at the end of the day. The surroundings were peaceful and we really appreciated the location outside of the busy town. It was easily walkable to town and there was a fantastic restaurant 5 min. away. We had delicious breakfasts with good variety and dinner one evening there was very good also. The staff were fun and friendly. They were so accommodating and helpful. We were very well taken care of. I would highly recommend Nan house!

A little out of the way, but a very nice little hotel/homestay. Spacious room, clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. If looking for a quiet, away from town location - highly recommend.

We stayed at Nan House for 3 nights of our honeymoon and it was the highlight of our trip. Ha arranged a private taxi for us from Hanoi which was very reliable and safe, and greeted us when we arrived. Our room had been made decorated for our honeymoon with rose petals and a swan towel and the room was incredibly comfortable with good air conditioning, a large and a comfy bed and powerful hot shower. Moon looked after us for our trip, she cooked delicious home cooked food in the restaurant and was always on hand if we needed anything. Our room was cleaned daily and the whole place was spotless. The area is breathtaking, we spend our time riding around on the free bikes, exploring Tam Coc, its pagodas, bars and restaurants, and beautiful jungle scenery, finding ponds full of lily pads and drinking cocktails with amazing views of the Karsts. We took the famous boat trip down the river in Nim Binh which is a must too. The scenery is magical and cannot be understood from pictures. I couldn't recommend this place and guesthouse enough and I can't wait to visit again, 3 days just wasn't enough!

The people running this place are amazing, so friendly and super helpful. The location is great as it is out in between the rice fields but only a short walk to Tam Coc. We loved our stay and would love to come back some day.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nan House in Vietnam, and I must say it was an absolutely amazing experience. From start to finish, the owners and their team went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable honeymoon. Even before our arrival, the owners were incredibly helpful in arranging transportation and solving any issues that arose. Ha, the owner, was especially calming and professional when we were unsure of which ferry port our ferry was arriving at. She quickly solved the problem and made us feel at ease. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. The team at Nan House helped us plan tours and arranged for a driver to stay with us throughout the day. Even when I fell ill the next day, they were there to take care of me and even made me homemade soup! Overall, I can't recommend Nan House enough. The owners, Ha and her team, truly go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and cared for. If you're looking for a special place to stay in Vietnam, this is it. Five stars all around! Thank you, Nan House, for making our honeymoon so unforgettable! 💖

Lovely place to stay
A beautiful, cozy and peaceful place to stay, off the overcrowded touristy center of Tam Coc (not too far though to quickly walk there for a drink or dinner). Great service - extremely friendly and helpful hosts! Highly recommended!

Located next to a lovely village full of a good choice of restaurants. Great atmosphere. Also ate in the restaurant and i would say this is a must. Great taste and genuine local cooking. We have done all 5 star hotels on this trip other than this hotel but this was nicer food and more pleasant than the others. A true family run hotel. Thankyou

We spent a lovely 3 nights at Nan House. The home stay is very pretty with beautiful grounds and views of the mountains. The pool was delightful to cool off after a long day exploring. Location was out of town, but only a short bike ride to Tam Coc, and the bikes are free to use. We ate at the restaurant one night, which was really delicious, and breakfast each morning was also lovely. A very relaxing place to stay.

Great location. Just a short bike ride from Cam Toc. We rode their free bikes everywhere and to most tourist sites. New and very clean rooms and the pool was perfect after a long day in the sun. Nan House helped arranged transport from Hanoi airport and share great tips for different trips around Nin Binh. Super friendly staff. If we return to Nin Binh we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful bungalow home stay! Very quaint and clean. Only problem was there wasn’t enough hot water to shower so we would have to rush. Other than that; very helpful staff and great stay! Will recommend!

Hands down one of the best homestays Ive been to. I myself love traveling to rural areas like here in Tam Coc and Nan House has made my experience unforgettable. I decided to switch my travel game up a little bit by choosing a more inclusive facility and Nan definitely exceeded way past all my expectations. I find the crew here extremely helpful even though sometimes we don’t quite understand each other. I love how the homestay is reasonably close to the center of the town here so I could walk to the harbor but far enough so theres nothing that could bother me. I dont normally write reviews for places Ive stayed at but Nan House is just something different and deserves all the praises!

This place is truly beautiful. The design of the rooms, the gardens, and the buildings are so beautiful, and the views and brilliant. We sat on the chairs for hours watching the view. The staff are very friendly and helpful and cool a great breakfast. Sometimes their English is not so good but it is no problem. The rooms are large, with high quality materials and very very clean. Push Bikes are free which is very good and useful. The homestay is a little further to walk than other home stays from Main Street but is only 10 minutes. Can’t recommend enough, definitely our best stay in Vietnam, perhaps ever! Excellent value for money.

Short but good stay
The owner was really helpful in arranging transportation from Hanoi and tours in the area. The place is about a 10 mintue walk from the town but it was nice, quiet, and peaceful because of this. :)

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Anything from a diet restriction to a taxi pickup, they assisted whenever we had a need. The space is about a 10 min walk from the markets, it is down quiet and peaceful road. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Nan House. They are just getting started out but the service was quick and prompt. The employees at the actual hotel don't speak English so it can be hard to communicate but we used WhatsApp with the (owner/manager?) if needed. We loved the use of free bikes and it seems like the area around this hotel will continue to be developed, for better and worse. The entire city lost power at one point and Nan House had a generator so we were able to come back to comfort.

Unforgetable moment!!
We are visitors in the south of Vietnam. Our first time to Ninh Binh and we found Nan House information on internet. Nan House gave us an unforgetable experience. Friendly, helpful and very nice. We was check in early but it was not a problem. The homestay is located near Tam Coc so you can walk there easily. It is nice decorated both interior and exterior. Peaceful environment you can find. The room is very comfort and nice with heating air conditioner. Ms. Linh, the owner I think, is very thoughtful. Breakfast is local food with Vietnamese Pho or Fried egg with sandwich, etc. We recommend this place for your trip to Ninh Binh.

Hidden Gem in Tam Coc.
Brand new boutique hotel. Has a small pool and the staff were amazing. Didn't speak excellent English but were always willing to help. Google Translate worked well to bridge the gap. Breakfast was good and the cafe overlooks a pond and rice field. Motorbike rental was 120,000/day and worked well. They also offer lunch and dinner if you just want to relax in the property. Location is in a quiet neighborhood but only 10 mins walk to the main street of Tam Coc where all the restaurants are. My wife and I stayed here in early October and we met the owner Ms Ha on our last day. Very nice and helpful lady who speaks excellent English. Highly recommended.

Rapport qualité-prix abusif !
En points positifs, on peut reconnaître que le lieu est agréable, il y a une certaine recherche esthétique. Même si la vue sur la cimenterie est difficile à oublier et les finitions restent à améliorer (fils qui pendent, joints bof etc...) Gros point négatif: alors que nous avions fait une réservation pour 3 personnes en bonne et due forme, on s'est vus facturer 2 suppléments ! Un pour la seule présence de notre fille, et un pour qu'elle ait droit à un matelas balancé par terre (pas de draps en coton du Nil pour elle...il a fallu aller demander aussi une serviette, heureusement non facturée...par contre, on a eu droit à la facturation de bouteilles d'eau jamais commandées...). Bref, pas très honnête à mon sens, on n'avait pas été prévenus de ces suppléments, cela rendait le prix de la chambre clairement excessif par rapport à la qualité ! On a poursuivi notre séjour dans un autre homestay aussi avec piscine, un peu moins classieux, beaucoup moins prétentieux et surtout moitié prix alors que la chambre comportait deux grands lits ! Bref, pourquoi pas, mais pas à ce tarif ! Accessoirement, éloigné du centre mais du coup calme. Mais là encore, vous trouverez facilement plus près et tout aussi calme...

We are very much regretful for the big misunderstanding between us. The deluxe double room was designed for 2 adults and kid under 6 years old for free of surcharge. For kid of 9 years old, there were a lifttle surchage for breakfast ... ect, as well as for extra matress.We thought this is a standard for every hotels worldwide. For a family of 3, we would recommend guests to book a family triple room or a deluxe / superior twin room that would be a lot more comforatble with 2 beds. Deluxe double room has only one large king size bed and that was clearly informed to guests. Besides, we are sorry for other misunderstanding about the cost of minibar water included in the bill. Please kindly check again your bill, our receptionist did not charge you at all. However, we very much apologise and sorry for all these. We wish we had known about your concern so that we would be completely happy to waive all the surcharge because for us, your happiness and satisfaction while staying here with Nan House are the most important. Right after writing this response, i will immediately contact you to refund you the surchage.. We thank you for your understanding and we hope to serve you better and earn your better satifaction if next time you choose to stay with us again. Ha

Very nice and friendly staff, very helpful especially when I got sick, they cared, brought a doctor and medicine!!! You come as a guest and leave as a friend! Rooms are spacious and clean, food is tasty. The area is quiet. Thank you all for everything!!

Bij deze home stay werden we op een warme en persoonlijke manier ontvangen door de eigenaar. Het personeel is ongelofelijk vriendelijk en staat altijd voor ons klaar. De kamers zijn erg nieuw en erg netjes. Net buiten ninh binh tref je hier heerlijke rust, hoewel je met de gratis fietsen makkelijk binnen vijf minuten in het centrum staat.

Mooie sfeervolle accommodatie met een prachtig zwembadje. Alles was nieuw. Goede bedden, gratis fiets, en elke avond een voetenbad. Zeer lief personeel. Helaas was het communiceren wat lastiger omdat ze geen engels spraken. Alles moest via Google translate. Daardoor hebben wij vele zaken op andere plek geregeld of gingen verloren in de communicatie. Locatie ligt net buiten het dorp, wat ons een voordeel leek. Ook hier werd er in de omgeving gebouwd zoals overal in Vietnam. De hond van de buren maakt s'nachts veel lawaai. Prijs was iets aan de hoge kant gezien de wat moeizame communicatie en ivm de opstart perikelen
