"The host and rooms were great and felt safe. The neighborhood at night doesn’t feel the safest. However they were very on top to make sure our stay was great which it was"
"One of the most elegant and beautiful properties in whole Sicily, and not just Catania; this is a rare jewel from comfort, design, location, exclusivity, and service.

"We had a wonderful stay at Bastio Private Suites. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was fantastic for a family. Great breakfast - my kids loved the range and the granita in particular! Great location as well."
"Wonderful staff, beautiful breakfast and lovely property. The rooms are well appointed and of a good size. One shelf in the bathroom would be very handy if it could be installed under the vanity as the counter was very small. Loved this property!!!"
"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet, and it was a quick walk from the rail station. Gabriele made everything easy and convenient, and checked in to be sure we were comfortable. It was nice to grab a quick breakfast from the kitchen before catching an early train. Highly recommended and we’d absolutely stay here again!"

TH LUXURY CENTRAL
10/10 Excellent
"This property is conveniently situated within walking distance of major monuments and restaurants. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The room featured modern decor and provided ample storage space. Bed linens and towels were fresh and hygienic. Located on the fifth floor, the property requires a special key to operate the elevator, which will be waiting for you in the room upstairs. This arrangement may pose some inconvenience on the first day, particularly if guests have substantial luggage to carry upstairs. Another potential drawback is the property's location on a street that hosts a daily market. The area is often crowded and noisy; while this did not pose an issue for me, it is worth noting that after the market closes, the streets become heavily littered and appear to be inadequately cleaned. Overall, my experience with this property was positive, and I would recommend it."
"Great location and safe. Great staff. Very professional and fast. Rooms are nice. Beautiful architecture and decor. A very good place to stay in the middle of the city. "
"My stay was on Saturday, so it could be different on other days of the week, but the area close to the hotel is like Las Vegas Strip with hundreds of people walking and shouting, cars honking, and bikes revving till late night. And there is almost none sound insulation, so if you go to bed early, there's no chance to sleep. Moreover, if you are at 3rd floor you can hear screech of chairs scraping in the restaurant/cocktail bar at 4th. Another disadvantage is the lack of kettle in the room. Other than that, it's a very nice hotel with a great view on the sea, varied breakfast (though, strangely, there's no orange juice!), and an underground parking (it's next to impossible to park on the street)."
"Our experience could not have been better. We are three American Senior women and the hotel went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. All the staff was excellent, especially Giacomo at the front counter who gave us explicit instructions and directions and also Antonio the bar manager who went out of his way to make our experience extra special, even telling us about the special Prosecco."
