"This is a great place to be on Miyajima Island. It is remote on the top of the mountain, on the other side of the island from the ferry terminal. So getting around the island is a bit of a challenge. However, Kenji is a great host, it's a magnificent place to get away with spectacular views. Bring some food with you, relax and enjoy the nature of this farm!"

"We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our bags at the hotel. We eventually checked in at around 9pm. The complimentary welcome drinks on the rooftop were a nice touch, with lovely views over the Memorial Park. Unfortunately, I felt that we had been given one of the less frequently used or overflow rooms, as there was a noticeable stale smell when we entered. The room itself was fairly basic, with complimentary water and a kettle provided, but no coffee or sugar. These have to be collected from reception on the top floor, which is a little inconvenient. Overall, there were some nice touches, particularly the rooftop welcome drinks and views, but the room and the lack of basic tea/coffee facilities let the experience down somewhat."
