"This is such a nice hotel the moment you enter it it just feels so comfortable. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Never heard anybody next-door to me. The coffee shop is divine the cutest way to start your morning when you’re not really craving a big breakfast from the restaurant inside the hotel crimson, which is immaculate, the reindeer hash to die for! Staff is very kind and accommodating, super helpful. You are in the heart of downtown Anchorage so you are able to walk around a lot of restaurants near you and the fifth Avenue mall is literally a street over so you can have some shopping time and burn the calories at the same time! I highly recommend staying here to anyone who is traveling to Anchorage you won’t regret making this your place of lodging during your travels. "

"The restaurant was closed. They rarely answered the phone this morning as I walked out when I told him it was the office most awful place I had ever stayed and I was only there to have surgery. I did receive a verbal f*** you from the woman at the front desk. There should’ve been a warning if the restaurant was closed I was there for pre-surgery care there’s no television like basic cable ability to watch anything two tiny trash cans, like two tiny towels no room cleanliness apparently to ask for it. It was awful beyond awful. I’m in the hospitality interest. I build hotels for a living. I didn’t expect it to be nice, but I think the dumps in Spenard would’ve been better."
