"Check in was easy and bed was comfortable. The room was much more run down that I was expecting at $160 a night. Chair cushions were torn, the bathtub was stained, the toilet paper holder broken, and the bathroom fan sounded like it was about to fall apart. Plus the tv remote’s batteries were dead and the mini coffee pot didn’t work. For a “fall asleep on arrival and leave first thing in the morning” stay it was functional but wouldn’t want to stay longer than that."

"This motel is convenient and clean. It is a no frills place to stay for a night or two when all you need is a place to sleep and shower. I stayed there when attending my daughter’s graduation from New Paltz and it was perfect. It was a quick drive to the school from there."

"This place is charmingly old school. Affordable and clean. The street noise is loud, and it sure sounded like someone was practicing drums at 9 am on Sunday. Also, the plastic cover on the mattress was…interesting. We’d probably stay here again, good value."

"Two things I felt were needed: 1) better lighting outside along the road up to the Atlas. At night time, it is quite dark and the house on the right where we turn was lit up but not the hotel office. It was confusing. 2) A much bigger sign is needed for the hotel office. Again at night is when many guests arrive and once you are inside I had to figure out their old system of picking up the phone and wait for someone to come check me in. "

"The room is beautiful and very clean. The owner lives on the property and happened to be home and introduced himself. He was a very personable man. We had a beautiful kitchenette to make our breakfast. The bed was comfortable, the water in the shower was nice and hot and the sitting area outside was nice and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again. "

"We loved staying in this large home for a weekend wedding in the area. All couples had plenty of room, with a bathroom in every bedroom, comfy beds, lots of living spaces, and gorgeous views of the valley below. The fall colors were so pretty!"

"Spent two nights and wanted a place where we could easily bike into town and got exactly that! The sound of the creek outside was so relaxing, accommodations were clean and comfy. Definitely would return!"
