Inadequate lighting, drapes barely hung with holes in them, no mirror beyond face mirror in bathroom BUT room was immaculate and comfortable beds. Ability to sit outside on lawn was peaceful and nice.

This place is quiet, relatively inexpensive, and near downtown Rhinebeck. The (basic) included breakfast is slightly irritating in that it's off-site, over at the Delamater Inn. My one complaint regarding the rooms is that they reek of motel-grade, heavily-scented disinfectant. Too much!!! But it's convenient, quiet, and you can walk over to the wonderful Lunchbox Cafe right down the street.

The property was just eh. When I turned down the bed there were crumbs on my sheets. You cannot check-in or out at the hotel, you have to go to the Beekman Arms. As for the "continental breakfast" you have to drive to a separate third location with a very limited breakfast selection. If I return to the Hudson Valley Food and Wine Fest, I will stay someplace else.

Hotel is a basic outdated accommodation. Very old and worn furniture. There were no real curtains in the windows to keep out light...only shears. The bedding was very clean and good quality, however. And overall, the room was very clean. I can say for the price, it was adequate.

No NOT book through Expedia! The hotel couldn’t find my reservation and we had to check out before the hotel confirmed it was a mistake and said we could check back in the next night.

Very convenient location to historic Rhinebeck. Less than a minute from downtown by car and maybe 10-15 minutes from Hyde Park. My room was spacious and clean. However, the place definitely is showing its age. Everything is a little dated and tired looking. I did have one small issue with the toilet seat and called the front desk. They were very professional and polite and handled the situation quickly and efficiently. The room had a coffee maker, microwave, mini-fridge, iron and ironing board and blow dryer. Price was very reasonable especially compared to other properties I looked at. So if you’re looking for a no frills, reasonably priced place to stay this fits the bill.

Room 1 had food in the fridge from last guests and the tub did not drain. Room 2 the fridge was moldy, the tub knobs for water was very loose and about to fall off, there was no knob on the fan adjustment in the bath, so you could not turn to control that. I had stayed there before and was very pleased, but these rooms were not good.

We stayed at The Village Inn, owned by Beekman. We have stayed there before and saw many improvements in the last 2 years ( there was fly paper hanging in the window last time we were here). The furnishings were lovely, a California King bed very comfortable, lovely dresser, armoire and couch. Unfortunately there was a terribly strong and offensive odor due to a Febreeze plug-in atomizer we had to unplug and tried to wait for the odor to fade (it took several hours). The curtains were hanging barely by the few hooks attached to the rod. The bathroom shower was fine, the only concern was the peeling wall paper in the bathroom and there were no Kleenex. We saw a rat running around outside the door as we entered the room. I don’t feel good about writing about the concerns but feel it is important for the admin to know. Years ago we stayed in a room at the old stables and found the room immensely comfortable. We have family in area but are unlikely to try Beekman again wether the main building or the off site buildings. I hope you can address these concerns so others can feel good about staying at Beekman.

Didn't have breakfast. Inn was very deserted. Had to call maintenance to fix curtains and tv. Chairs n rugs worn and stained. Reception, maid, and maintenance man all nice and helpful.

Room was comfortable and clean, quite spacious, very comfortable beds, great shower! Although the location is on a highly trafficked main road, the room was very quiet. Inn is an older property, quaint and cozy, recently renovated. Appreciated the mini fridge, lots of room for sandwiches, snacks, drinks and space to freeze ice packs for next day. Only disadvantage is check in is off site at another property in town. Although not that far away, parking can be difficult. Enjoyed my stay, will definitely be back!
