"Great half-way stay on our cycling trip of the Shimanami Kaido. Very small room so somewhat overpriced for what you get, but location was fantastic, everything was very clean, & the on-site restaurant was so delicious!"

"We had such a beautiful experience with our one night stay, including a traditional Japanese meal for dinner and breakfast. The room was large, private, and comfortable with amazing large windows looking out on the water. Our stay here is definitely a core memory from our trip to Japan."

"Staff was very friendly and allowed me to check in before the scheduled time. Even if they Eleonor speak English, they tried hard to accommodate my needs."

This place was perfect for our multi-family group coming through for the Shimanami Kaido. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed even slippers. It was a beautiful authentic Japanese space with all the modern amenities.
There’s not a lot around but Family Mart is about a 5 min bike ride away. We ordered breakfast through this stay with Wakka which was about a less than min bike ride away. I would definitely recommend this place - a great value stay.

This hotel is incredibly close to one of the most iconic structures of World War II, directly across from the “atomic dome“ which is one of the few buildings left from the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. The hypocenter, where the weapon exploded, is just behind the hotel, which tells you the amazing recovery. The people of Hiroshima have made.

The breakfast was amazing (I chose the Japanese style) and the lady that prepared it (and checked me in) was super nice and accommodating. The tubs were great to soak in and it was nice to have the privacy (the bath room smelled a little mildewy, but that’s to be expected in a wooden room with high humidity). I Would definitely stay again.

This was the middle hotel on our 75 km Shimanami bike ride and we arrived very hot and tired. The room was not ready for us, but the staff happily took our bags so we could enjoy the town while the room was being prepared. Once we arrived in it, the room was a beautiful newly constructed all wood artsy dream place. Comfortable bed, beautiful, bathing facilities, and a woodfired restaurant downstairs that gave us an amazing meal, coincidentally with several members of the friendly staff whose...

Just stayed one night with my family and we didn’t want to leave. The house is over 100 years old but has modern conveniences and was very clean and comfortable. The futon beds were perfect. The AC was strong. And best of all was the food. Dinner was a 12-13 course omakase with fish we’ve never tasted, like blowfish. My two teens absolutely loved the experience and are already asking to go back. The owner/chef was very friendly. He went with us on a night walk and took photos of us along...

I was blown away by the genuine old school Japanese feel. No frills, but all your basics are met, and there is air conditioning that works well. Nobue is the owner, and he is a kind and welcoming soul. Complete with a koi pond and green foliage in the middle of the Ryokan. This is a diamond in the rough, and I will absolutely stay again when I return to Hiroshima.
