"We stayed at this property for four nights in March 2023. This well appointed rental is a former gatehouse and is located on the beautiful grounds of the castle in Bazel. It has a fenced yard which was perfect for my teens to kick around a soccer ball. The views out of each window were gorgeous- the upper bedroom has a view towards the castle in the back and the church square in the front. "The place was great, a wonderful neighborhood, great public transportation near by. Our hosts were easy to reach and quick to respond. Several lovely neighborhood restaurants, our favorite being Mima’s Gaston Tafel. The view from the balcony made it all the better. We highly recommend it."

"We hebben op de eerste avond 3 uur zonder elektra gezeten. Niemand was eerst te bereiken. De Host niet, en ook de helpdesk van VRBO hielp ons niet verder. Uiteindelijk moest de onderbuurman komen om een de switch in zijn garage weer om te zetten. Wat verder niet goed was: - kast in de keuken kapot waardoor we de spullen niet goed kwijt konden. - te weinig borden, te weinig pannen in de keuken. - een enkel lampenpit aan het plafond, zonder leuk lampje. - vuilnis en lege flessen van de vorige...
