"Clear instructions for an easy check in. Was able to check in earlier which was a nice bonus.
Standard double room was small but cosy. Had everything we needed for a one night stay. Tea and coffee facilities. Fabulous location. Bars, restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Very close to the river if you fancy a nice walk. Parked at train station which was a short walk away. Would definitely stay again. "
"We enjoyed very much our stay. The Hotel is in the town center close to all amenities. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff very welcoming. I need to call out Lana who is responsible for the breakfasts, such a professional and nice person to the guests."
"Amazing cottage with all the amenities a family or traveler could ask for!Location is fantastic and the hosts are available to help with anything although, the "black book" answers anything you would need.Stay with confidence!!"
1400 Cottage An Enchanting Unique Stay - From 120 Per Night
8/10 Good
"Property is in a great location. Cottage is unique and quaint. Floors sloping upstairs and very squeaky. Beds very comfortable. Paperwork from owner was overwhelming and too much. "
A Beautiful River Frontage Townhouse with walled garden, hot tub and fire pit.
6/10 Okay
"The location, bedrooms, bathrooms, and amenities in the house were terrific. We were there to race at Henley Masters Regatta so needed a place close by where we could cook. It fit that bill perfectly. However, the listing states that pets are not permitted and fails to mention the owner keeps two cats. If you or any member of your party have an allergy, this is NOT the right house. The house is NOT free of cat hair or dander. Stay somewhere else if you have any cat dander allergies. We learned of the cats the week before we arrived when the owner asked us if she could leave the cats in the home during our stay, though she had a reservation for them at the cattery. I said no, members of our party are allergic to cats, one severely. The owner reassured us that the house was clean and her Bengal cats did not shed. (Impossible — even Bengal cats shed and emit some dander.) The severely allergic member of our party was forced to change their plans, stay at a hotel at the last minute. The other member with more minor allergies suffered sneezing and watery eyes when sitting in the common living area. I regret having to write this review as a longtime VRBO customer. I attempted to work with the owner repeatedly to resolve the issue, seeking a partial refund. She claimed it was our fault for not asking about pets when we made the reservation. (Also, be prepared to buy toilet paper because there were no extra rolls, Fans in each bedroom for hot days/nights are also needed.)"
"Absolutely lovely flat in Henley. Very clean and well stocked. Host was easy to reach and made the entire experience easy for us. Would definitely come back and make it our home base anytime we are in Henley-on-athames"
