Clean, comfortable and quiet! Everything I needed. The shower head was a bit big for the shower but was easily navigated. The most challenging part was the lack of parking or a drop off area to unload/load bags. Overall, a very positive experience and excellent location.
Super stay for 2 nights. Staff attentive and helpful. If you have issues with stairs, be sure to ask for a room that doesn't require extra stairs even after exiting the elevator/lift. Only down side was the occasional noise ar street level, but that's not the hotel's fault. The closeness to the train station made the area worthwhile.
Room quality was very good with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of options. My only criticism was that the music played at breakfast time frankly let down the hotel. 70s or 80s pop - and I write as an owner of many of such tunes - should be replaced by gentle light classical, assuming there has to be music at all.
Very convenient location, right front of the station. Front is always staffed and provides sense of security especially at late hours. Interior has been renovated and look new, good amount of amenity. Bed was comfortable and shower ran smooth, and bathroom was big. Overall it was good value.
Had a nice stay, staff were friendly. Very close to the station which is handy. Windows have secondary glazing so you couldn’t hear noise from the street.
I stayed at Malmaison Reading for a business trip and had a great experience. The location is excellent, right across from Reading Station, which made travel very convenient.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a great place to relax after a busy day of meetings. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay, making the experience even better.
Breakfast was another highlight, with a good variety of options and everything fresh and well prepared. It was a great way to start the day before heading out for work.
Overall, a very pleasant stay. The combination of a convenient location, clean rooms, friendly service, and a quality breakfast makes this a hotel I would happily stay at again when visiting Reading.
The location was excellent, close to the railway station and the RailAir stop, which is why we chose this hotel. Our biggest complaint were the two single beds, they were uncomfortably hot with only a single very heavy duvet. As simple sheet and blanket would be much more comfortable.
