As a result of COVID-19, traveling today comes with some extra challenges. Have a read over these valuable tips before boarding your plane to Helligvær:

• Find out if any travel restrictions apply to your destination and origin before booking. Also check if there are any special conditions you'll need to follow on arrival, such as testing and quarantining.
• Keep your face mask on even during airport screening. A TSA officer will ask you to temporarily lower your mask for identification purposes.
• Rather than handing a TSA agent your boarding pass, position it straight on the scanner yourself. When that's done, hold it up for inspection.
• You are now permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on baggage. This will need to be removed for screening.
• Remove personal items from your pocket, such as your wallet, keys and phone, and place them in your carry-on rather than into bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• Separate any food you have for X-ray screening. Placing it in a clear plastic bag and into a bin reduces the need for a TSA agent to handle and inspect your belongings.
