We loved the cabin inside and out. The beds were comfortable and the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms gave privacy and convenience. The kitchen was well-equipped and the entire cabin was tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outside porches.. The gazebo, swing, and fire pit near the creek were charming touches. The surrounding woods added to our love of nature.

We took our teenagers on a quick 2 day adventure. Good area. Road and driveway are steep access points. Thankfully we didnt use the grill as we had planned.

Nice cabin in the woods and close to Helen. Sadly this visit did not meet our expectations. Booked through VRBO, the true listing rental was Vacasa. Made validating on time payment an extra chore to prove. When we arrived we had several issues. The door keypad sticks and took several tries to work every time. The internet did not work at all so couldn't use smart TVs either. The gas fireplace did not work. Appeared to be clean at first but there were noticeable fingerprints and dog snot on back door windows. Also found a used shower cap on bathroom door. Noticable sediment in hot tub. Floors and surfaces were clean. Beds and other linens clean. Stocked with most essentials. Could use towels for hot tub and updated/ wipeable couches. Vacasa was quick to respond by text only. Long wait times when I tried to call.

A slice of heaven

This is by far the best place we've stayed in the area and are already looking into booking it again for next year. We would love for this to be our yearly getaway spot! The cabin is cozy and cute. The bed was surprisingly VERY comfortable! There are two bedrooms but only used the one. I assume both beds are the same. We loved the big deck and porch. The showstopper is the backyard. The lights, the moss covered roof on the gazebo, the cute creek, the trees... WOW! Someone else negatively commented prior about the old animal hutches on the property but I thought they added character to the place! The jacuzzi was great. Having a kitchen, washer and dryer is awesome. Wifi was fine. We spent a lot of time outside by the firepit. The gas fireplace was cool too, although we had to have someone come light the pilot light because we couldn't figure out why it wasn't coming on. Vacasa was extremely responsive when we reached out to address it. Overall cleanliness outside and inside was great. The only downside was that the rugs smell of animal urine - I am assuming from dogs since the cabin is furbaby friendly (and we love that aspect! But, we don't have any pups.) I left a note for housekeeping to address it to hopefully shampoo the rugs. Overall 10000000/10 experience. Consider this your permission to book this place immediately. You won't be sorry.

Great Cabin

The cabin was very nice and clean, enjoyed all of the ammenities, great view from the back decks. Highly recommend if you are staying in this area.

Cute house, clean, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, nice hot tub. Outside could use a bit of cleanup. The sofa not very comfortable. No instructions for fireplaces. No remote found for porch fireplace. Bathrooms have small tub shower combo and standard height toilets.

Family time

It was the perfect house to stay with the whole family! We loved the privacy and all the house had to offer but also love being close to the little town of Helen! It was the perfect location.

Christmas mini vacation

The process of booking/payment was very easy. The cabin was beautiful & decorated for Christmas perfectly. The pictures didn’t do this lovely home justice. We are already making plans to return during the summer & hopefully staying here again. I loved it!

Can't beat the location if you want access to Helen and various fishing spots.

Again, the location is tops. The property needs some updating; living room furniture is uncomfortable, one bedroom lacked a dresser (thus, no storage) and both lacked sufficient hangers. The kitchen lacked many items which we typically find in rentals; aluminum foil, paper nalkins, tissues, etc.
