"Couldn’t get into the rental for over 4 hours due to a dead battery on the combination lock. TV didn’t work and was misled about WIFI when I was texted I would get a password for WIFI. The shower was unsafe to use having to step over a bathtub with no grab bars to hold on to. The grounds around the cottage were unsafe with holes and uneven surfaces by the step to the porch and throughout the resort. We didn’t feel we could stay mostly because of the safety issues so we left in the early morning...

"Had a good trip riding sleds. House was as good as advertised, only thing to caution if you bring multiple truck/trailers they won’t fit in the driveway. But the northern motel and cafe is next door and they let us park there which was very helpful. And their breakfast was great! "The cabin was very comfortable and cozy. A bit too cold still (late April!) to enjoy the cute porch facing the lake though. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. "We LOVED staying at The Waters. The relaxing north woods lodge atmosphere and numerous amenities (including on site dining and a coffee shop serving Starbucks) was exactly what we needed after an 8 hour drive. The staff are amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond to assure guests have an outstanding experience. The rooms are newly renovated, thoughtfully designed with families in mind and SUPER CLEAN. Rooms are well insulated /soundproof-we were never disturbed by our neighbors despite staying during “peak” weekend hours. We will definitely be back. "
