"We just did a weekend trip to Leeds and stumbled across this gem on hotel.com. It was the best stay away we have ever had in the UK! The owners were so kind and welcoming, they really do make you feel like you are a member of the family. The house itself was absolutely stunning, the garden was full of flowers with a cute vegetable patch. If you are looking for a place to stay that gives an old English county house vibe this is perfect. I also have a lot of dietary requirements as I am gluten...

"The room I stayed in wasn’t great, hadn’t been decorated in quite a while, items removed from the walls hadn’t been repaired and repainted, carpet tiles on the floor that didn’t look clean, lampshades just about hanging on the wall. Rooms not very inviting at all. Breakfast was OK and the staff are friendly but just needs some updating."
