Secluded setting with a handful of other cabins, just north of the hubub of Hochatown. Covered deck with river view is a fabulous place to unwind and recharge. Upscale accommodations more than expected, and comfort is the biggest asset. Definitely recommend, and would visit again."

"The cabin was very clean and cute, with a cozy atmosphere. I especially loved the soaking tub—it was such a relaxing highlight! The view from the cabin is absolutely beautiful and makes the stay feel peaceful and secluded.The only downside is that it’s quite a drive to the nearest town for restaurants, shopping, or entertainment. But if you’re looking for a place to truly unplug, stay in, and get away from everything, this cabin is the perfect spot."

"Room was just fine. For the price that I paid I couldn’t expect too much more. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of hot water in the air-conditioning worked great. There was a smell of cigarettes where the room had been smoked in, probably previously. But other than that, the room was just fine. No complaints."

"We had a great time spending three days MorningStar! The view from the deck is unparalleled and very relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub every day, while looking at the view. Miss Priss the cabin kitty visited us several times a day for pets and we loved her! I didn't miss not having cable or Internet and enjoyed movie DVDs every night. A great selection of DVDs is provided and we also brought a few to choose from. All kitchen amenities you would need are provided. We did need paper towels, but had bought some on the way. You might want to bring a bic lighter for the outside charcoal grill just in case. Make sure to get groceries before arriving, as a full grocery store is not close. Hochatown is about 35 minutes away and we spent several hours there hitting the gift shops and eating at Hochatown saloon. We also walked down to the creek to go fishing and caught a bass! If it's been a while since you've done uphill walking, just a note that you may find the walk back up from the creek challenging. However, if you're a regular walker/hiker, it shouldn't be an issue and you'll find it relatively easy. It is a well cleared path, but in certain area you will need to navigate some rocks. The inside of the cabin is decorated beautifully and the walls with a mixture of wood and brick are very cool. There are a lot of homey, cute touches all around the cabin! (a note for those of you that a snoring partner, the bedroom does not have a door) A great stay, highly recommend! "

"We had the most amazing trip! The house is beautifully decorated and located in a great spot. My favorite part of the house was the upstairs deck. We sat out there and had coffee and just enjoyed the sounds of the water. We will definitely be returning in the future!"

"This was our second stay at this fabulous place! We were on vacation with 6 of our mostly grown kids. There is plenty of room to spread out! We took a remote control car down the road on the property and found a rocky area that was perfect! We also flew a remote control plane around the back yard! Endless board games and puzzles kept us busy! Highly recommended!!"
