"This was a one night stay with dinner for two. Everything we might need was anticipated. The sushi was delicious and is highly recommended. The service was exceptional and we were made to feel very special. The room was well appointed and we had one o the best night’s sleep in a while. The Egyptian cotton sheets were heavenly. We will definitely be back. "

"Plus points: Good location for Cliveden, etc, very comfortable bed and modern room. pleasant traditional pub atmosphere in small bar area. Restaurant a little pricey for the place; meal ok, but cheeseboard not so good. Sea bass (small fillet but good) -price same as a leading Italian restaurant in Bloomsbury, where we got a whole sea bass. Minus points: Breakfast not good at all, poor choice of cereals, no fruit at all, cheap orange juice. Full English ok (just) but pricey for what we got....

"The location of abbey lodge was great, only a few minutes walk into town. Handy for restaurants and shopping. It was a short drive to get to the rural areas which we enjoyed walking. We booked a twin room which was much bigger than the doubles we saw. It was bang for your buck! "
