Pleasant stay at this venue

A very pleasant place to stay. Our room was quite small, perhaps unsurprisingly for a venue in town, but clean and well appointed, with a separate toilet (and sink) and bathroom with shower and basin. Breakfast was fresh, well prepared and generous, and the staff were very accommodating. Would happily stay again if the occasion arose.

The inn was lovely Breakfast very good although another juice choice and the juice and water colder would have made a difference The bedroom was also extremely warm even with the heating off But all in all descent place

Charm of English Village Close to London

This is the second time we have stayed at the Bel & Dragon and we will stay there again when next in the area. Close to great restaurants and pubs. Their service and accommodations are top notch. It’s a lovely cozy charming village break from the big name hotel chains while still being accessible to London, airports, and parts surrounding.

Great Hotel with Pleasant Staff

Nice hotel with clean and comfortable room. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food in restayrant was excellent with a good choice. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and not buffet style.

We had a lovely time, the hotel was very well maintained and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food was good, we had Sunday lunch and breakfast which was good quality. The room was on the small side and could do with more storage if you were to stay longer.

Amazing Staff

The room was spotlessly clean and tidy. The restaurant and breakfast superb. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly stay here again

Super friendly staff, lovely pub and restaurant area for food. Bedroom was large but had a tiny and compact bathroom which was ok for what we needed on this trip. Free whiskey was a nice touch. Only downfall was the noise from the road and either the property or next door (loud music late into night)

Loved the bedroom I stayed in called Annie. Lovely spacious room with en-suite shower with all important comfy bed and pillows. Nice and quiet at night also. The shower was perfect but the taps in the sink are quite hard to turn off and the carpet needed some attention in the entrance but apart from that I loved the room. The staff were friendly and helpful and the excellent breakfast was included, served hot and perfect with great quality ingredients and eggs cooked how I like them! Perfect, thank you

It’s a beautiful area and the inn itself is lovely. Sadly we were given “Hilda” as our room. It was small, shabby, no room for bedside tables and really cramped. The widows were small and hard to open, on a hot day with no air con, it was a small oven, we were really uncomfortable, I cant deny we felt disappointed, the pictures obviously don’t show this room, not even enough room for a coffee machine as shown on all photos. Toilet needed a deep clean too, skirting’s were really grubby. I get the feeling that this room isn’t used much, sadly we got given it. Breakfast very good though, but still had to return to our little room, which wiped out this positive.
