The property is in a great location. Bar area was very nice . The breakfast was lovely. The only downside was the room was a little tired looking and had very noisy creaky floorboards.

Excellent location and all the team provide great service and an enjoyable weekend stay. We’ve stayed here before but felt the rooms are getting tired, reported issues with our allocated room on viewing and very grateful to be upgraded to a better room although still some issues. The public areas are well presented but bedrooms need investment to deliver promised expectations.

Beautiful hotel with a warm friendly greeting. Breakfast was very nice. Our room was too warm and even with the window open and radiators off, it wasn’t close to bearable til the early hours of the morning - this was mid February. Very soft bed offered no support and was a really uncomfortable night. A bulb was out in our room which I reported on my way out for the evening but on return it had not been replaced.

Our room was ‘tired’ and in need of upgrading. The toilet cistern was very poor and flushing was poor. The deep bath caused a problem getting in to use the shower. Grab handles are needed. Wi-Fi was very poor in the room, the signal regulary dropped. £15 to park your car is so expensive!

With regards of the car parking charge, we have looked into your account and there is no any records of paying for car parking. Also the Hotel being situated in the heart of Harrogate, having a secure space is coming with a small price. There’s also other alternatives where our guest can park like either in any of the streets around the Hotel and it is free of charge in between 6pm and 8am in the following morning or there is couple of multi-storey car parks nearby. Power outage left us without power or water for an hour on the morning of our stay at peak time for getting ready to check out. We felt the hotel failed to communicate what was going on and generally had a very nonchalant attitude to the situation. Not at all apologetic I would not stay again and would further add that in general the beautiful hotel and building is in need of many upgrades to claim to be a four star hotel Not worth the money and not recommended.

Great size room
Everything was good except our room wasnt cleabed on the 2nd day.We did have a do not disturb sign on the door for aome of the morning though. Other than that a lovely quiet room.

Always a lovely stay
Lovely experience as always at this Hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and my room had some lovely touches like chocolates and a little gift set of lip balm and moisturiser. Good location and parking easy too.

As always we enjoy our stays at the Hotel du Vin & Bistro but there are a couple of opportunities for improvement, parking is hit and miss, we have parked in the car parking spaces outside the hotel previously and this time were told at reception that the hotel categorically did not have any parking facilities. There is however plenty of parking around the hotel area. My second niggle was the queue for the (one) coffee machine at breakfast in the morning, for a hotel of this standard please invest in at least one other coffee machine and please take breakfast orders in a timely manner, we and others waited quite a while for our hot breakfast order to be taken.

The room was sufficient. Unfortunately our stay wasn't as pleasant as expected. We had a dirty bottle of water in our room, there was dust in places. The bathroom flooded when we turned the heating on and my clothes were soiled. The next morning we were woken up by the bathroom light going on by itself and the shower turning itself on. We couldn't wait to check out and will not be staying at the hotel anytime in the near future
