The property was a bit rundown on the outside. Our room was okay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and courteously upgraded our room to a suite.

Nothing fancy, and they don’t hold it out to be. For the price it was a good value and a place to lay my head. Bed was comfortable enough, air-conditioning work fine, the Wi-Fi service didn’t work too well, but good channel lineup on the TV. And the room was clean, but had a bit of a mildewy odor The staff were wonderful and kind people., it was all I needed for one night in order to stay close to the Tunnel Hill bike trail in Shawnee National Forest for a day of biking and hiking. I would stay here again for a night. If I come back down here to bike again

Clean and well maintained hotel close to Shawnee national Park. Echo is very helpful of you need to check in late, helps with suggestions on outdoors activities, dining etc. Coffee and bagels for breakfast. Recommend it for couples who are looking for a good deal and want to explore Southern Illinois.
