"Property exactly as advertised. Clear check in and check out instructions. Reasonable expectations for guests (take out trash, put away any dishes you use). Quiet street with good proximity to main roads, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was clean and efficient. The beds were extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. Never slept better! Everything we wanted to visit was within a good driving distance (mostly within Shawnee National Park).Local restaurants and shops were convenient.Host was responsive and thorough.We really appreciated the spacious rooms, quiet safe neighborhood and easy access to nearby hiking. "This is the second time we stayed here and will definitely stay again if available the next time we are in Harrisburg, Illinois. Definitely a family friendly host. We had 4 children and all had plenty to do when we were back in the house after a long day of sight seeing and visiting with relatives. The rooms are very spacious so there was no feelings of being cramped. The kitchen is fully stocked and we cooked breakfast every morning and even made dinner 3 nights. Thank you Michael, our host, for working with us to make our vacation home away from home perfect!"
