「My parents and I had dinner and stayed a night at The Fourth Lock before heading home the next morning. The food was delicious and the restaurant's ambiance was wonderful with beautiful views of the lake. The room we stayed at was very spacious, clean and comfortable and also had an excellent view of the lake. Highly recommended!」

「This is a lovely property with so much story and heart to it. We were welcomed from the moment we drove into the driveway. They made effort to give us an ice box to keep our food cool. 「We had a great stay at the Parrsboro Mansion. Our room (Captains) was very big, clean, and came with a private sauna which was a nice surprise! The host family was very nice, provided great service, and a good breakfast. There aren’t many restaurants in the area but that’s no fault of the hosts. Would stay again. 」

「空港からバスを乗り継ぎ１時間弱。オーナーが教えてくれたバス停で降りました。そこからはけっこうな坂道。数分と書いてましたが、キャリーケースにリュックを背負ってた私には地獄の坂道でした、、 オーナーは良い人ですが、予約した後のメールでお風呂は共用と聞かされました。2部屋しかないので、あまり問題ないかもしれませんが、プライベートバスだと思ってたので残念でした。 さらに朝食も期待してましたが、スーパーで買ったパンを焼くか、ヨーグルト、シリアルなど簡素な朝食。これなら値段をもっと下げるべきだと思います。 部屋は清潔で眺めも良く快適だっただけに、色々残念でした。ダウンタウンからも離れてるので不便です。」

"Loved this hotel! Great location, friendly staff, and overall a really satisfying experience. I had a relaxing stay. The room was spacious. I used the sofa bed, but since it was placed near the air conditioner’s vent, it was a bit chilly. However, I asked the hotel staff for a blanket, and they kindly provided one, so it was fine. The view from the window faced the building across the street, but if you looked at an angle, you could catch a glimpse of the ocean. Overall, the room was clean, the hotel staff were friendly, and I had a very pleasant experience. I’d love to stay here again. Next time, I’d like to book a room with an ocean view."
