Good sized room, standard amenities, comfortable bed. Close to supermarket and excellent fish ‘n chips restaurant!

Two rooms had been booked. One wasn't ready until well after 3pm. I had given my credit card details as security and agreed, when asked by reception, that the cost of both rooms go on it. The first I knew there was a surcharge for that was when the payment showed up on my banking app! That should not happen! The staff were all very pleasant and I got an apology- but no refund of the charge. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable, but the hotel really needs a refurb - particularly the bathrooms.

Rooms were great. Only 1 of the 2 hot tubs were heated and landscaping in back needed tending. Staff was outstanding.

The staff were very nice to us. They helped us to book the best rate for an added night and with a late checkout. Very cool, old-fashioned decor. It is close to a lovely park and many restaurants.
