「A lovely property in a very quiet area right next to a lake. The staff where amazing, very kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quiet hotel in the Haliburton area. 5 star rating from me.」

「We loved our stay at the Rock House. The home was clean, comfortable, and in a good location. John (property owner) & his daughter Amy were very accommodating. We got the chance to visit with John a couple of times. He showed us how to get to the river both on the property, and from a public road near by. He also provided us with plenty of firewood. Unfortunately, they received a lot of rain right before we arrived and the weather was still very cool, so we did not get to enjoy the river as much...

「Cute apartment with a great kitchenette for those who don't want to eat out all the time. Wi-Fi was provided and entrance to the property was easy and I felt secure. The host has lot of little extras and tries to make your stay pleasant. There are steep stairs for any who would be troubled by that but they are very stable and have railings. 」
