「Wonderful staff, nice spacious room, lovely terrace and outlook of the hotel. 」

「Staff lovely. Bed comfy, sheets and towels clean. The room was ok but the shower room was full of black mould. In the room damp by the window. Really cold despite having a plug in heater. Expedia sold this as a stay with breakfast included, which it was not All in all disappointed. We have received a partial refund 」

「It’s the perfect stay to stop just off the M6 when driving from Scotland to England. It’s a beautifully decorated pub, with lovely staff and excellent breakfast and dinner. This time our ferry was cancelled from Mull and so we had to change the booking at the last moment. They were understanding and there was no problem rolling over the booking until we could get off the island. We will be forever loyal to this wonderful stop just south of Penrith. 」

「This is a lovely hotel, well located for stunning views of the landscape. Our room was well decorated, and had a lovely bathroom with a walk in shower. The walls were pretty thin, we could hear people in the neighbouring rooms around us. The bed was really comfortable, excellent Wi-fi and a smart TV on the wall was perfect. 「Highly recommended. Comfortable hotel. Fine breakfast. Helpful staffs. Excellent location near the motor way. Has a shop (drink, food, etc), a cafeteria and a petrol station attached in a walking distance. 家族経営で始まったホテルのようですが、とてもよかったです。スタッフも親切で、朝食も十分でした。高速道路からすぐのところにあり、湖水地方訪問のために二泊しました。ガソリンスタンド、コンビニのようなお店、カフェテリアがすぐそばにあり、ドリンクやサンドイッチなども買えます。ホテルのBarではドリンクの他にハンバーガーやサンドイッチも頂くことができます。」

「A very warm welcome, and Ann, the proprietor, was very helpful and friendly. Room was very well furnished and presented beautifully- perfect cleanliness. Excellent breakfast as well. Can’t think of anything to improve on. We will return whenever we need to stay over anywhere near Penrith. 」
