"We loved our stay in Norfolk which was partly due to the wonderful accommodation choice of Aloha. An excellent central location, spotlessly clean and with every amenity you could want. Close to everything and an easy pick up point for any tours. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommended. "

"Seaview Norfolk Island was an excellent place to stay. Very comfortable bed,I mean really comfortable. The shower was excellent (hot water, good amount/pressure), decent size and it's a standalone shower ie not in a bath). Quality toilet paper, and I liked the little green shampoo they provided (there's also conditioner, liquid handwash soap, bars of soap and other stuff including insect killer spray - you do get the occasional flying bug attracted by the light enter your room). Seaview is an easy walk down to Kingston or into Burnt Pine (town where you'll need to go to eat) and also within the radius that Pinetree, Baunti and other tours pick up from. Has a great view from the common kitchen/dining area (hence the name of the place), has a guest laundromat if Norfolk is part of a longer journey and you need to do washing. It's got a pool and a bottleshop is also on the property. There's a fridge in your room & TV by the way. If you rent a car (which you don't need to, you can walk everywhere on the island) there's a pretty big car park. There is the sound of roosters waking you up, but as someone who walked everywhere, feral chickens (since there are no snakes) are around every place you might stay at.Sure bathroom taps and tiles are old, but they work well. That's all you need.Talking to other people, this is the case everywhere you stay anyway, so if no cracked tiles, freshly painted walls and so forth are a necessity for you, maybe Norfolk Island isn't your destination."

"Older accommodation. Clean, spacious, beds comfortable, full kitchen facilities. Didn't see the "rain shower head" in the bathroom though :) . There was however a shower curtain that liked to "get up close and personal". Would be no good for elderly as car parking was 50 meters from the units down a steep grassy hill and poorly lit. Complex operated by the upmarket Governors lodge. Need to collect and drop off keys at the lodge. No reception on site at the crest. We had a few problems with the smoke alarm and DVD player. Very hard to get someone to assist. Simple maintenance items seemed to be overlooked. A shame really. Driveway had huge potholes, light bulbs not replaced, clock had flat battery, Screen door to balcony did not open properly. It is one of the furthest from the main town. not that this was very far. Less than 8 Kms. The Governors Lodge charged our room before we arrived which we had not agreed to. We were going to use another Credit card and split payment etc. We were unable to obtain a copy of our receipt for this payment. Disappointing. Overall, I would stay again but for the price charged, you could find much better accommodation options on the island. "
