"Awesome stay at Casa Dell Aqua : big space, beautiful view, nicely equipped kitchen and near a lot of nice cities. The last 10min of road are very narrow to get up the mountain but it's definitely worth the trip ! Very private, the hosts came for a few checks of the pool and gardening but we never even noticed them.Would totally recommend !"

Her family are quintessential Italian and we loved hearing her grandchildren calling each other across the garden, hearing the neigh of the horses and next doors donkey in the distance. "The hotel is lovely in every respect. The location is perfect, close to the centre of beautiful Lucca, but in a quiet corner. The rooms are lovely. The bathroom was huge and had twin showers. The finishes were tasteful. The staff was welcoming and always helpful. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will return."
