"Very cozy room. Basic but very clean and functional. Loved the balcony with a table and chairs with potted plants. Staff was excellent. Had airport pick up service (fee) so no hassle getting here. Free shuttle to close by cruise terminal. One block from waterfront with shopping and restaurants "

"An older hotel with few extra amenities but it was clean and quiet, 25 minute walk to Syntagma Square and had some great restaurants and cafes only 3 blocks away (slightly hidden). I would stay here again. NB. 2 things to note, elevator is very small and the beds are low to the ground... not a complaint just something to know in advance"

"Staff service was excellent. I was given a 6th floor room which is at the top and have access to the roof whuch has a magnificent view of the Acropolis. The elevator only goes to the 5th floor so we had to walk a flight of stairs to the 6th floor. The staff was very helpful to carry our two suitcases to the 6th floor. The included breakfast was very good with a lot of varieties. On check-out the staff was very nice to take our bags down a couple of stairs to the taxi. The room was clean but not...

"The lady at checkin was exceptionally helpful and let me know that the cafeteria was open earlier than posted when I told her what time I was leaving. I have to say that breakfast blew me away as to how good it was. I could recommend the hotel just for that!"

"Economy hotel was great and very close to main attractions around the city! The front desk staff was absolutely AMAZING and VERY helpful! They are always smiling and active for all their guests! It is a bonus that they include a free breakfast buffet that has a lot of variety of basic items which are good! You can’t ask for more with a price like this! "

"I have to say...it is what it is. The Cecil is not a 5-star hotel. It is old, but is well kept. The staff was great, the room spotless, the breakfast adequate. It is in a great location for walking around the city. It enjoyed my stay there."
