「Lovely room at front of hotel included a balcony with seating to enjoy the view of the high street and front of hotel. Good location for Ullswater in centre of Pooley Bridge. Onsite restaurant had good varied menu and full breakfast options were delicious. Comfortable bed and onsite parking. Staff friendly and very helpful.」

「We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at the Crown Inn. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was on the small side but it was well equipped and very clean, with a comfy bed too. The ensuite was perfect. We ate ate the Inn and all our meals were good and tasty, especially the breakfast with a good range of options. 」

「Wasn’t aware until shortly before our visit that we’d booked during the Appleby Horse Fair so following a Police advisory, they weren’t selling alcohol. Which was a shame as I like to drink local brewery beer when away, but we were allowed to bring our own bottles. In all other respects, our stay was amazing!」
