「We enjoyed our one night stay whilst up at Hadrian's Wall. Gary, Carol and their staff were very friendly, the service was great, the room was very comfortable and the food was excellent in the charming restaurant. Minor confusion on arrival about our booking was quicky resolved without issue (computer problem / booking platform) i.e. what room we had booked and what was included in our booking. 「The owners of this property have really paid attention to the details. Although unassuming from outside, the rooms are nicely finished including extras such as "rocky road "! The shower room is finished to a high standard with a very effective shower. Breakfast, once sgain, was well presented with a range of items, including a full breakfast, freshly cooked. Recommended if you're staying in Penrith or, like us, just breaking a long drive.」
