「As a hiker on the Hadrians Wall trail, this venue had everything; good food, good beer and a good drying room. After a wet walk this was most welcome.

「A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. 」

「A beautiful cottage in a secluded area with lovely views of surrounding hills and forest. The photos dont do it justice, it is much bigger in reality. It is very well equipped, and beds very comfortable with spotless linen. Even in cold weather, the cottage has more than enough radiators and a very efficient log burner to keep you warm.
