"The cabin is very clean inside. There was a lot of care and attention to the details. The location is great, close to the Dollar General. If you leave the cabin be aware that there is poor cell phone service. The outside porch could use some repairs but does not effect your enjoyment. "

"We went to visit my daughter (sophomore at App State). She brought her roommate and I brought my mother in law and my 7 year old daughter. We had a really good time. The house was beautiful and clean. My 7 year old loved the ‘babbling Brooke’ in the back and watching deer in the morning. We visit Boone often but this was our first time visiting West Jefferson. It was wonderful! Would definitely go again! "

"Great location. Nice to hear Big Wilson Creek in the evening. Enjoyed seeing some good sized trout in the stream, but left my flyrod at home. Lucky fish. Saw several species of birds and heard more. We love blueberry picking in nearby Grayson Highlands State Park. We worked hard for our berries, but they are worlds better tasting than domestic berries and fun to pick. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen nice to cook in. This was our second year there and we hope to return next year. Thanks to...

"Overall it was good. Initially, there was a smell when you walk in but nothing a little febreeze couldn’t handle. Had to wash our sheets because there was a bit of dog hair on them. Great place though and we enjoyed ourselves will definitely be back!"
