"Let's start with check in. I asked for no housekeeping because I usually clean my own room and my pets being inside. Not an option- okay cool. Not a problem. I just took my pets with me to work. I came back from work- bed was made and towels swapped out but no actual cleaning ?? I found fur that didn't belong to my animals. Room looked like it hadn't been swept in days. Cords exposed that were covered in dust. The carpet in hallway was covered in dirty boot prints. Outside had trash everywhere but I guess that due to no trash cans being outside?? On my towels in my room- there was hair on them that didn't belong to me. On my walls was some dripped yellow looking liquid that was dried. Day of checking out- the room phone started ringing at 9am then at 10 housekeeping was banging on the door. I could go on about this place but I've said enough."

"This was one of my favorite hotels to stay in absolutely great staff. The rooms were impacted clean the venue that we were going to see the concert was less than half a mile away and met some of the nicest people I’ve ever met ever in any city, I love Memphis love this place."

"Our family stayed in a room that had been smoked in heavily. My son and I both have asthma and it took weeks to stop coughing after staying here. We asked to change rooms, but there were none available. I didn’t know smoking rooms were even a thing anymore, but it was so bad my eyes started watering as soon as I opened the door."

"Our overnight stay here was wonderful. Tara at the front desk was friendly and gave us lots of info. They shuttle to and from Graceland which made it so easy for us, and even have a deal at Marlows BBQ which was great. They picked us up at the hotel and brought us back after dinner. The hotel staff was Sooo friendly and helpful. Michelle and Ms Moody (I think was her name) in the breakfast area were very friendly. Would definitely stay again"

"The first room we were given had a deadbolt lock that was broken and a telephone that didn’t work not even when trying to call the front desk. Our second room had dirty carpet (evidenced by the bottom of my slippers), a/c that alternated between freezing and barely cooling throughout the stay. Our room was not refreshed when we returned at 6:30pm even though we left the room at 11:30am. No luggage rack or surface on which our suitcase coukd be placed. The staff was friendly but I would not recommend this particular Courtyard to anyone. It"

"Even though the room was clean, it did have an odor. The TV came on but was frozen. Staff were all amazing on every shift. Breakfast was full continental. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. It was probably the most quiet hotel I have been to in a long time, especially considering the part of town it's in. I was concerned when we arrived, but not upset when I left."
