「Staff were brilliant, rooms have been let go from a maintenance point of view. Food was tasty but very over priced, especially the breakfast. Would have made a complaint if I’d had to pay £18 for that had it not been included with the nights stay. Drinks reasonably priced though.」

「The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings and we were lucky to be given a stone cottage apartment with outside decking overlooking the pond and grounds. Beautiful! The staff were all very pleasant but overstretched and and quite stressed at times. Breakfast was good but didn't run smoothly. The restaurant food and service was very good.The pool and spa were really lovely and the gym looked amazing. Don't rely on trying to get a taxi anywhere. 「Room was a good size and was nice and clean (as was the rest of the hotel). The facilities were OK, but the whole hotel feels very tired and dated and not really what I’d expect from a 5 star. The food was fairly standard, no better than the food I’ve had in other 3 and 4 star hotels. Pool looks great in the photos but was extremely busy on our stay.
