"Great location within The Governors Club. Clemson vs UNC Football game with golf on Friday. The golf course was walking distance. Short drive or Uber ride to downtown Chapel Hill and the stadium. The location was super close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Very clean, well maintained and extremely spacious! Great long weekend with friends. Plenty of space to play pool and watch games on multiple TVs. Lots of bedrooms with bathrooms for privacy. Highly recommend staying here if traveling to the Chapel Hill area! Beautiful community!"

"Great property! The house has been nicely renovated. We were gone much of the time, but enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable leather reclining couch at the end of the day! The woods are pretty and our pup thought it was all a grand adventure. "

"Correction: our stay was between Sep 10-Sep 16, 2025 ( see image attached). Dovefield is a magical place, with trees, trails, ponds, birds, yoga mat in the front porch and fenced-in back porch where we could watch our dogs play while chatting with family. Our entire stay was serene and restful. Hosts were thoughtful people who prepared a wonderful home away from home for us to stay. "

"The house is very spacious and has plenty of room for a big group. It was nicely furnished with comfortable beds. Unfortunately, the cleaning crew didn’t do a thorough job. The linens were changed and bathroom was mostly cleaned but the kitchen needed help. I would also suggest having something, like a binder, that gives guests information about the area and things to do; emergency info; instructions for checking out, etc. The house met our needs for our group but it is really bare bones. "
