"We've stayed here several times now and will happily return. The location is convenient to town, and the property itself is lovely, especially after the recent renovations. However, the check‑in process consistently feels slower than expected. The bar menu is also quite limited. It’s surprising that simple options like a bowl of fries or wedges aren’t available to enjoy with a glass of wine or beer which my husband and I enjoy, as most hotels offer this. Overall, the food choices are minimal. We usually dine at the hotels we stay in, but in our five visits here, we’ve only had breakfast a few times and haven’t chosen to have dinner which is a shame really."

The new owners are great to deal with, very accommodating and quick to rectify any issues. The property was clean and the rooms have been updated which feels very modern. Great stay, will definitely be back next time we are in Tauranga/Mount Maunganui"
