「Room was as clean as this very old motel can be. Had a muggy smell so had to air it out a bit. Mattress was comfortable but the sheets were very itchy But the towels were new and plush so that was a bonus.」

「This place is ideal if you know what you are in for. I appreciated the location, once I realised it was 22 km from Golden, up a soft dirt/gravel winding road, away from anything. I did not receive the email from the property advising me of all the details until after I arrived to check in, because I was away from wifi and cell signal. I did not know my room was open, and the details I needed (bring dinner or dinner supplies, for e.g.). Check in was therefore quite unpleasant, because I didn't...

「The room was spacious and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The shower had grab handles which made it easy and safe to use. The hotel location was convenient and had plenty of parking. Highly recommend.」

「Absolutely beautiful rustic wooden building. The view from our bed of the mountains was so stunning that we slept with the curtains open each night. (And I wanted to take the HUGE wooden bed home with me!) A great location for all the wonderful activities Golden has to offer. We had lovely sunny weather so the AC was welcome. Only thing missing… a kettle to make tea as well as coffee. Thank you for a great stay.」
