"This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). "The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The facilities were a great bonus, and the breakfast was very nice. The overall cleanliness and comfort of the room were good. There were just a few minor issues. There weren't enough plug sockets, which was a slight inconvenience. The mirror light in the bathroom appeared to be stuck on, making the bathroom feel extremely hot, almost like a sauna. The bedside lamps also didn't work properly and just flickered. "Rooms 1 and 7 were clean and comfy. No. 1 was stuffy (possibly due to hot weather and no air con) and smelt of cooking . No. 7 was cooler but affected by traffic noise as there was a fair amount of traffic throughout the night. Not ideal for light sleepers. Can’t comment on the meals as we didn’t eat there. Easy access to Pendine Sands."
