"On arrival we had to check in at the sister property down the hill. At check in they were unable to find our booking and we’re not expecting us, they did provide us with a room but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. There were dustpans & brushes left on the landing, room was reasonably clean but tired, breakfast was an extra €7 each at the sister property down the street and was good value. The bar was not open. Quiet setting & good recommendation for evening food at nearby Italian Remos. ...

"Basic, but great accomodation! Everything was very clean and in nice condition. There are no staff to greet you and many stairs with no lift, but this was not an issue for us (I say it only to make it clear for people reading) There is also a kitchen downstairs to cook your own meals."

Es wurde sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert und das ganze Haus gezeigt und die Geschichte des Hauses erzählt. Gleichzeitig wurden wir gefragt wie wir unserer Frühstücksei haben wollten. "What a great hotel 👍 A lovely, historic building in the centre of a gorgeous town with very friendly locals, supermarkets , pubs and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and there is free gated private parking. Breakfast was sooo good. Plus it’s dog friendly (€13.50 supplement) We had a smashing stay and would be delighted to recommend it to everyone. ❤️"
