Gilpin History Museum

The suite was wonderful for our family and the included breakfast was good.

When I booked this hotel I had higher expectations but when we arrived we were disappointed. Toilet wouldn’t flush even after maintenance was called up. Towels very thin and scratchy. Very flat pillows. The peppery area the hotel during the evening was very dark and felt unsafe walking into parking garage. During the day there was a homeless person sleeping on the sidewalk.

The room was clean and comfortable and the property itself was very clean and presentable. I had a nice stay and would consider staying again because of the convenient location. The staff was helpful and kind.
