ZenArt Deluxe is an elegant apartment in the historic center of Genoa, just 200 meters from the Genoa Aquarium and the Old Port. Renovated in 2024, it is furnished in a "art gallery" style with the main theme being the City of Genoa.
ZenArt Deluxe is the ideal solution for those who want to experience a unique and pleasant stay in one of the most beautiful apartments in the historic center of Genoa.
ZenArt can accommodate up to 4 people, is located on the sixth and top floor of the building and is equipped with an elevator, which is reached by climbing about ten stairs.
It is equipped with an accessorized kitchen for every need and taste, the dining table is organized on a peninsula with stools, cooktop and oven, ideal for family and friends meals; open space living room with comfortable spacious sofa that becomes a double bed when needed, smart TV connected to the internet and air conditioning; the bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and air conditioning; the elegant bathroom is characterized by a sink with mirror, bidet, toilet and spacious shower box; the apartment also has a washing machine and dishwasher.
Central and convenient for reaching all points of interest in the city on foot.
The apartment is completely at the guests' disposal and for exclusive use.
We will always be available and supportive of our guests. We prefer communication via Airbnb and phone.
Welcome to the pulsating heart of Genoa: its fascinating historic center. Known as one of the largest in Europe, this labyrinth of narrow alleys, called "caruggi", is a treasure steeped in history, art, and culture.
Immersed in a vibrant and authentic atmosphere, Genoa's historic center welcomes you with its unique architecture, characterized by ancient palaces decorated with marvelous frescoes and surprising architectural details. You will find yourself walking through cobblestone streets, discovering hidden small squares, traditional taverns, and artisan shops that tell centuries-old stories.
One of the focal points is the famous De Ferrari Square, the modern heart of the city, surrounded by sumptuous buildings and dominated by the splendid fountain. From here, I invite you to venture into the surrounding alleys, letting yourself be captivated by the lively and authentic atmosphere of Via Garibaldi, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This street is renowned for its historic palaces, including the Red Palace, the White Palace, and the Doria Tursi Palace, which house incredible art collections.
You cannot miss the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, a masterpiece of Romanesque-Gothic architecture, nor the Church of Gesù, rich in Baroque treasures and extraordinary frescoes. And if you love contemporary art, the extraordinary National Gallery of Palazzo Spinola will amaze you with its exhibitions.
The Ancient Port of Genoa is a jewel that reflects the city's deep connection with the sea and its maritime history. And at its center, like an immense lighthouse that tells of centuries of navigation and adventures, you will find the Lanterna.
The Lanterna is a millennial icon, a lighthouse symbolizing strength and guidance for sailors who have traversed these waters. With over 800 years of history, this lighthouse is one of the oldest and most fascinating structures of its kind still in operation.
But the true magic of Genoa's historic center lies in its authenticity: observe the Genoese as they live their daily lives, savor the delicacies of local cuisine in trattorias and restaurants, and let yourself be carried away by the sound of locals' conversations.
Moreover, I cannot help but mention the atmosphere here: the smell of the sea, the sound of the waves, the boats gently swaying on the waters of the harbor, and the feeling of being part of a thousand-year-old maritime history.
I hope that this brief taste has aroused your curiosity to explore this wonderful labyrinth of history and culture that is the historic center of Genoa. It is an experience that will leave you enchanted and that will allow you to discover the true spirit of this fascinating and authentic city.
To explore the center of Genoa, I highly recommend moving on foot. The narrow alleys and caruggi, the beating heart of the historic center, are best explored on foot to fully capture the authentic atmosphere of this city.
Parking in the city center can be challenging, but there are some options. If you arrive by car, we will recommend some guarded parking lots located near the historic center.
For public transportation, Genoa offers a good transport system with buses and metro. The "Genoa Metro" is a convenient option for moving from one end of the city to the other.
Once in the historic center, walking is the best way to immerse yourself in Genoa's unique atmosphere. The "caruggi" are narrow pedestrian streets that host artisan shops, restaurants, and picturesque corners. The main attractions are easily accessible on foot, and I recommend exploring without haste, letting yourself be surprised by the small hidden gems along the way.
Regarding public transportation, if you need to travel longer distances or reach areas outside the city center, buses are a reliable option. The service covers most of the city and its surroundings, offering a convenient alternative to reach places like residential neighborhoods or other attractions outside the historic center. Genoa's bus line is among the most efficient in Italy.
In summary, walking is the best way to explore the historic center of Genoa, but if you arrive by car, consider the guarded parking lots near the center. For longer trips or to explore other parts of the city, public transportation such as the metro and buses are convenient and reliable options.
At the time of booking, we will provide you with all the necessary useful information.
Good exploration!
