"I struggled to rate this hotel fairly. It is a nice hotel. The rooms are clean. The location is perfect. It is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and about a 20-minute walk to most theaters. The reason I won’t stay here again is that the walls are paper thin. I could hear every conversation in the room next to us, and it seemed as if they were speaking in a “regular” volume. We could hear every room in our vicinity’s doors closing in the hallway. Also no air conditioning so you will most likely need to sleep with your window open. One night, there was a car alarm that went off for a long time. The hotel does leave ear plugs next to the bed, so I am sure they are aware of this issue."

"The hotel is in quiet street in Shoreditch about 8 minutes walk from Old St tube station. Although we had checked in online we were greeted by a very friendly lady who dealt with the automated room key screen. Our rooms, front of building and first floor, were spotlessly clean, well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a walk-in shower. The whole hotel was very well insulated and quiet. We’d definitely stay again as we felt the price for a hotel of this calibre was very reasonable. We had breakfast at the Little Square Cafe opposite which had a good selection of breakfast rolls and excellent coffee. "

"The room was clean but smaller than I thought. We called the front desk for some water and they came with 4 extra bottles of water which was amazing! Overall, I would stay here again."

"Stayed at this particular hotel many times, it is our preferred place when we come to London, although it’s expensive and no longer have the discounts they used to offer. Shoreditch location is fab for touristy stuff."
