「There was know one at the property to check my 2 daughters in that traveled from Maine for a celebration of life. I had to call and a woman instructed me to tell them to go to the desk and get the key out of a basket full of keys. When the girls got to their room it smelled musty, cigarette smell, blankets where yellowed. The sheets were a blue fuzzy blanket with particles on it! Windows fogged over with mold. If it is a self service hotel it should be advertised as that!!! I would have never...

「Great breakfast, very clean room」

「There was always someone available to answer questions. The property is old and could use some renovation to bring it up a little. Wood walls and "popcorn ceilings " that show wear and stain from age. Breakfast was waffles and sausage with some really good coffee. Definitely a good place to stay in the Midwest.」

「The property was so clean and the breakfast staff and maids were always wiping things down. The check-in ladies were great and very helpful. The only downfall was you had to book two nights online and they price was very high because of activities in town. I was very surprised that so many rooms were empty. I think because they made you book two nights and really high for small town.」

「The rooms were nice, although the beds were too soft for me. The common areas were nice and comfortable. The kids used the pool and enjoyed it. Breakfast was decent. Unfortunately the TVs did not work properly. Overall a good stay!」

「Place is nice but they charged my card upon check in vs any other hotel I've ever been to where they wait until check out. Would have been nice to know as I wanted to pay cash at check out and actually mentioned that」

「About as good as the photos show. The carpet was dirty and needs to be replaced. There were some bugs (doors are exterior so to be expected, I guess?), but no bed bugs. Sheets seemed clean. There was a spider and web over one bed. Queen beds (2) were each up against a wall or window on one side, so small. Everything was very old and smelled old. We think the paint on the outside is new. The woman who runs the motel is very sweet and we can tell she’s trying hard. Making updates where she can....
