"The room was fine but I was surprised and somewhat aggravated to find that after I had booked and paid for my room through Expedia I was asked to pay a $50 room deposit upon arrival! I have stayed at several Comfort Inns and this has never been asked of me. He said it would be refunded if there was no damage to the room when we left!!😳. We are both seniors traveling with no pets nor children, got there late and left the next morning without breakfast and the room was definitely left in good condition. When questioned about my refund he told me it would be 5 to 7 business days before I would see it credited on my card. This is somewhat frustrating to me. We won’t stay here again due to this practice."

"This property is a charming 2 bedroom cottage. It was perfect for our purposes ( a memorial service for my wife’s mother in Coldspring) . It was clean and comfortable and felt very secure."

"What a wonderful place. We came out for my daughters college graduation and stayed for 8 days. We did somefishing with the grandkids, grilled out with our adult children and grandkids, etc. My wife and I are very picky about where we stay. The host responded within minutes of any questions we had. Cleaniness of the interior and extrerior grounds were perfect. This place has everything you need. My adult son and daughter have lived in the Houston area for 5 years. They also loved the place when they visited. This is a must stay for anyone looking for a place to stay while in the Houston area. You wont be disappointed. "

"Pool was enjoyable, just wish the waterfall worked as good as it use to. Seem like not enough pressure on the waterfall pump or issue with water not cascading over the main part. "
