"We felt very safe, everything was great there. Did not get to have breakfast because we got in so late the first night and slept in. Our second morning we had to leave at 4:30 am. Can't say how the breakfast was, however everything else was great!"

"night check in clerk was great. gave us late check out because we arrived so late and we are choice members. Clerk in the daytime called at 10:45 AM and was rude and told us we need to leave - we should not have been told we could have late check out"

"This hotel is nicely decorated and had a very friendly staff. Room was big and the bed was super comfortable. Buffet breakfast was par for a hotel, biscuits and gravy good but not hot, same with eggs."

"Staff was made aware that the door to my room didnt lock and that the keypad didnt work, so basically my door was just unlocked all the time. Anyone could have just walked right in at any time. I was told basically that theres nothing they could do and that there were no other rooms to move me to until the day before i check out. "This place was perfect!! We rented it for 2 nights to celebrate our 21st anniversary. Close proximity to Lake Livingston State Park and Livingston. We also visited the Johnsons Rock Shop in Indian Springs East of Livingston. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quite. You can hear the birds chirping in the morning, see squirrels playing and enjoy the beautiful lake view. We did not fish or build a fire as it was a drizzly weekend but we very much enjoyed the stay. The cottage has all the essentials and then some. I also got two bullseye on the dart board!! Very nice place to stay. Wr highly recommend!!!!"
