"Over all this is a clean, friendly, quiet place to stay. Vallet is convenient but make sure you allow 20 minutes or more to retrieve your vehicle if you need it. Savannah is very walkable so I recommend that. The bed was comfortable and the room was fairly clean. More details need to be taken around the baseboards, behind the bathroom door, floor by the sink etc. and the Keurig was kind of nasty. The fresh coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby was a nice touch. I'd like better tea than Lipton but that's just me. It's disappointing there is no longer breakfast offered but I knew this before booking and the staff makes it clear which is fantastic.so many great places nearby are great so go there for breakfast."

"It is a beautifully preserved location that immerses you into Savannah’s past I love the decor and charm , the warm greeting at the desk, perfect location and cleanliness My husband and I were in Savannah 30 years ago and always wanted to come back We finally did after raising 3 children Back then, we noticed the hotel and I said how I would love to come back and stay there because it was the visual taste that I like . Finally returned and it was our turn to be able to enjoy the hotel Loved it and will be back!"

"We used Expedia to book a river view room with balcony. When we checked in, no river view balcony rooms. I simply don’t understand how this EVER happens. And the funny thing is, EVERYTHING else about the hotel was outstanding. "
