Nice small hotel, very friendly staff!

I gave 4 stars because there was no air conditioner instead an electric fan that only allowed us to press to #2. 3 was not working. Also, we could hear the cars, sirens, helicopter & tram. We were at the 4th floor & had a nice view, but when we opened the windows to feel cool, the noise was even louder. The next night was the same, hence I had to take Benadryl and put the earplugs they provided, which helped. Otherwise, the hotel was strategically located, within the old town, where there are lots of restaurants, it iswell maintained, very clean, and the receptionists were professional, helpful, attentive, and friendly. It is a few steps away from the bus and train station.

Very good location to be able to explore Zurich. My only comment is to be aware that the bathroom in the room (at least that we stayed in) may not be what western cultures are used to. Sliding glass doors allow ALL sounds to echo into the room! Lol! If you are not modest, it may not be a big deal for you.
