"The reason we love this property is the setting in a historic building in an historic neighbourhood. Lots of charm and character. Outdoor seating in the waterfront rooms makes for an enjoyable stay. A quick walk to the City Cruises. Was happy to see they had refreshed the waterfront rooms. I would like to see them continue replacing the old muskoka chairs and tables as some are in need of repair. We will be back."

"Michelle and her team offer a world class experience from arrival until departure. The property is beautiful , with so many one of a kind pieces. Our room was fantastic. Breakfast to die for and the large dining table sitting promoting a wonderful exchange between guests. Thanks so much for your part in our mini honeymoon ( almost 55 years later)! Mike and Patricia"

"Its reconditioned Quality Inn old suites, marketed as Comfort Suites. Parking is shared b/w Quality/ Comfort and Holiday Inn suites and Comfort Inn charges USD 6.99/ day for it. Expedia shows parking on property but does not show charges, and you have to toggle down to the bottom in details to see it. I did not see while booking and was shocked to see charges at check-in. Staff waived for me but pretty upset with Expedia on sneaking charges on customers and not showing upfront. Rooms are ok, breakfast was reasonable and pool is great. Room walls are thin so you can hear neighbors and pool does not have showers. Overall 3/5. "

"Loved this place. breakfast was ok, I really enjoyed the property spent time in the outdoor pool and sitting on the private deck catching up with my cousin from Winnipeg. I was also happy to see a Tim Hortons right next door. Staff were friendly, room was clean enjoyed our stay and would return to this location if I was staying in the are area."
