Francigena Cadolingi Home in Gambassi Terme is a charming rustic retreat set within a beautifully restored 19th-century manor house, now divided into three independent flats.

We are in the small historic village of Catignano, 4 km from Gambassi Terme, much appreciated for its spa located on the Via Francigena. The property offers a sunny and panoramic position over the vineyards to enjoy the Apuan Alps on the horizon. The private pool has a solarium area equipped for pleasant moments of relaxation. The owners, very kind and helpful people, will welcome you in their private wine cellar where you will have the pleasure of tasting their wines.
It is ideal for friends or families looking for a quiet place to spend their vacation together in Tuscany among the Chianti hills.
The first apartment is accessed by two low steps that lead into a large open-plan area divided by a step into a living area with an open fireplace and a TV-SAT, and a lovely dining kitchen. The living room leads to a lovely covered terrace equipped for pleasant outdoor dining. Convenient steps lead to the barbecue and swimming pool.

The apartment, tastefully furnished in the Tuscan tradition, offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, 4 gas burners, toaster, and refrigerator with freezer. The second apartment is also located on the ground floor and is a studio apartment: dining table with fireplace and a one-and-a-half-square sofa bed; romantic niche with French bed; bathroom with shower, equipped kitchenette; outside pergola equipped for outdoor dining. The apartments have direct access to the pool, a few meters away, down some steps.
The third apartment is on the first floor, accessed by an internal staircase. The well-furnished and very comfortable apartment offers a large living room with a fireplace, TV-SAT and access to a panoramic terrace furnished for outdoor dining; two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a shower.
The owners with discretion and availability use the apartment located on the second floor. When necessary, the entrance to access it is shared with the apartment located on the first floor (ID 12111)

A tax of EUR 1 is implied per person per night for guests above 14 years of age ( to be paid on property).
The property is fully fenced but does not have a private fenced garden.
Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of May 2025 to the 15th of October 2025.
A damage deposit of EUR 300 has to be paid locally.
A damage deposit of EUR 2000 has to be paid locally for groups under 21 years of age.
Heating/gas charges of EUR 5 for m3 to be paid on the spot, upon consumption.
Cleaning euro 250 per stay to be paid on site.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the nearby Catignano region offers numerous scenic white roads and trails, perfect for walking, horseback riding, or mountain biking. A well-equipped golf centre in Castelfalfi is a 25-minute drive away, catering to golf lovers. Additionally, just 10 minutes away by car, visitors can indulge in a delightful wine-tasting experience paired with traditional local dishes at a nearby wine shop.
