「Definitely a great property with a great price per night when we went. Check in was smooth, the house was exactly as pictured and very clean. It was also stocked well with utensils and such for the kitchen, which was nice. Parking was limited to street parking (as expected), and it was a bit sparse in the evenings, so if you’re traveling with anyone not able to walk very far, be prepared to drop them at the door before parking. 「This rental is so close to Pleasure Pier. It is the first house on the right coming from the pier. Its literally, Pleasure Pier across the road, Chick-fil-A, a paid parking lot, and then this rental. We were Fishtails is right there as well. We really loved it. The only negative, AT ALL, is the street parking. It was pretty full. We managed though. We visited duting spring break so iybwas pretty busy. The kids LOVED the bunk beds. They are bigger than they look in the pictures. They had plugs...

「It is a good value although the property is pretty dated. Like many of the buildings in Gal Island it is probably from the 1920's. We did like the pool setup but we were not sure how clean it was as the water is hazy. Within walking distance of the beach and lots of cool attractions. Room was big bathroom was tiny. We stayed in room 7. Our patio view caught a little of the ocean. Expect older and worn not new and shiny. Enjoy the nostalgia!」

「Extremely clean. Excellent communication and accommodation from Owner. Dedicated parking garage big enough to fit our Q80 was a luxury. Excellent location very short walk to the Strand. We parked in the garage and walked to everything all weekend.We will not stay anywhere else in Galveston if this place is available. 」

「Just so you know this is a real review, I'll start with the nickel and dime stuff. But the tl;dr is that this is a great property and I'd totally stay again. The very few annoying things were that the door to the master bedroom is a sliding door that leaves a gap, and the kids bunk room just has a curtain. So if privacy is paramount you might have an issue. Also, the hot tubs were warm at best, and we actually had to get out after about 10 minutes because we got cold. The kitchen could be better...
