「Great property and great stay 」

「Condo is great and as listed and we would stay again! Do understand that there is traffic noise from the road in front when sitting on the balcony but it makes for some free entertainment while watching all of the different vehicles and people moving around. Both pools are very nice but we preferred the one located in the back of the West building and during our stay it was not crowded at all. 「Our family came to Galveston as a Christmas present to the kids instead of doing a bunch of gifts. The Mermaid Lookout more than exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. Great view, clean, spacious and a quick walk to the pool, hot tub, and beach. The condo was well stocked and had everything we could need for our stay. We would definitely stay at the Mermaid Lookout again! 10/10 would recommend. 」

「The rooms were clean with everything we needed ready for us. The hosts were quick to respond to a few questions I had before and on the day of arrival. We were in great walking distance to the strand for shopping and eating. We were a very short Uber ride to the port too.」

「What an amazing place! Incredibly well maintained, very very clean, full stocked with all the little extras. We absolutely loved it. I didnt want to leave. I have ZERO complaints about the room. My only issue was checkin. There was only 1 lady, who didn't seem to know what was going on, and i stood in line for 40 minutes!! But the stay was great, great pool, well landscaped, loved it. But so many people smoking weed was gross. The smell was nasty. But that had nothing to do with our room, just...

The host was immediately responsive to a question we had during our stay, and the unit was appointed with more amenities than at any place we've ever stayed. Cannot recommend more highly!!! :)」

「Perfect location for a lot of beach walking and swimming in the ocean. Parking along the beach is easy and so many restaurants available. Seafood in the area is delicious. The two pools on the property are kept very clean. The one pool is heated, but cushions on the chairs need to be replaced…they’re pretty ragged. All in all, we recommend staying here. 」

「Of all the VRBOs I've stayed in, this has been by far my fav! It is adorable, so clean, and you cannot beat the view. Janice was amazing and attentive when needed and the place was stocked with anything we could have needed. And there is a gas station and a Walmart within walking distance. I LOVED IT and I cannot wait to go back!」
