"It was a 7 minute (0.4 mile) walk to Pleasure Pier which was the most important feature for our stay. The ac was nice & cold. Since our time was packed & busy, we didn’t get to swim in the pool but it looked clean & my daughter tried out the hot tub. The problem was the bed. It appeared fine until it was sat on. "I will say that the location of the hotel was awesome! Literally right across the street from the seawall stairs to the beach. I chose this hotel mostly for the pool because we had a 6yr old with us and wanted to make sure the pool was good for when we were done with the beach and it did not disappoint. It was a heated pool with a kid area and a basketball goal and it was a pretty good size pool so you didn't feel cramped. However, the service at the pool was not that great. The waitress ignored us on several occasions but was seen helping other patrons, so that was disappointing. The room kind of had a musty old smell when you first walked in and the bathroom was small. It had an arcade room which was kind of cool but expensive. A cotton candy making machine. A little store that was way too expensive. A bottle of tylenol was $22! We did have a small issue with the room and when I went to tell the front staff, they looked at me like I was an alien or something. I think it was a little overpriced. This would not be my first choice next time, I will look at other resorts. I mean, I would stay here again if it was the last option, but would not be my first choice. But hey, this is just my opinion and observation, you might feel differently than me."
